Maria DeWald, creative director of DeWald Gardens, says because she received so many requests for container gardens this spring, she’s stocked up on glass beads, vibrant pots and other “container accessories,” she says.

“We most definitely get a lot of requests for orange and tangerine accessories,” DeWald says. “And we’re already on the lookout for glass art – and I’m not talking about gazing balls. The trend that is just around the corner is blown glass sculptural pieces in really vibrant colors.”

Their display showed a lot of class and I loved the pottery. There were beautifully planted containers, several healthy coleus cultivars (one of their specialties), and a gorgeous Japanese Maple bonsai for sale. I had a delightful conversation with the owner and plan to visit them in the coming months.
